Major Rookie HL#4 - Lambercy, 9U, 2018 Season (Lucan-Ilderton Baseball)

Hello Blue Thunder! Sorry that our last game was flooded out. I was really looking forward to playing our last regular season game with you kids tonight.  Now it is onto the Tournament. The excel spreadsheet looks complicated, so I will break it down for everyone. 

Hi Blue Thunder  As a reminder Tuesday 24 July is our last regular season game.  I will be doing a little something special for the kids after the game so if everyone can hang back after we will meet out in right field for a few minutes.  Please make sure to check out the email I forwarded re: the Tournament. It will start Thursday 26 July. I believe the schedule is being worked on based on scores submitted by today.  It looks like we will definitely be playing Thursday 6:00 and most likely Saturday AM depending on the outcome of the Thursday Evening Game.  I will probably still hold ...

For our Home Game tomorrow night I think we will try to keep the fielding positions consistent throughout the game. This will allow the players to get a better feel for how to play each position. I will also be staying later tomorrow night to keep the pitching machine going for anyone who wants to stick back and get some extra practice. We have the Diamond until 8pm anyways, so if we are done the game earlier and anyone wants to take advantage of the extra practice I will be there. See you tomorrow Blue Thunder! P.S. Hi everyone,  I received an email Re: the approved bats for Rookieball. "Please make sure that your team is only using baseball bats and not softball bats (softball bats likely say either "softball" or "fast pitch" on them and are generally a more uniform diameter over the length of the barrel)" I did check some of the bats at our last game and they seemed ok to me (they did not say softball/fast pitch) but If parents can check the bats again and make sure they are appropriate that would be greatly appreciated.  Also, please see the following page for information on Pictures i.e. ...
