Diamond Upgrade Complete
Submitted By Mike Thompson on Saturday, May 17, 2014
Marco-Clay has completed the clay infield upgrade on the Hardball Diamond in Lucan.  A huge THANK-YOU to the Lucan Lions Club and The Township of Lucan-Biddulph for their financial support of the project.  Final costs have not come in but is expected to be in the range of $35000 - $37000 with the Lions Club covering 2/3rds of the cost with the Township picking up the remaining 1/3rd.

The new infield looks great and the feedback from the players has been awesome.  The diamond is almost booked to capacity with our Junior, Midget, Bantam and Pee Wee Teams calling it home.

A special Thanks to Lucan Lions Club Members Colin Haskett and Tim Ryan, Lucan-Biddulph Facilities Manager Jason Boyer and Lucan-Ilderton Minor Baseball Member Rod Johnston for their efforts in making this project happen.

Yours in Baseball,
Mike Thompson
