Jocelyn Amos - World U18 Junior Hockey Champion!
Congratulations to our U19 Softball team Rep player Jocelyn Amos (Alisa Craig) on her game winning goal and World championship gold medal this past week at the World junior’s tournament in Madison Wisconsin!
Jocelyn had a phenomenal tournament, being recognized for player of the game against the USA on June 9th and then named one of the Top 3 Players for the tournament for the Canadian team. A student of Medway High school, Jocelyn where she was the captain of the hockey team and playing an integral role in bringing home another city championship this year. Yesterday at the Medway athletic assembly, Jocelyn was awarded with the top female athlete in Grade 11. A multi sport athlete, Jocelyn has been playing competitive softball with our club for the last six years and was apart of the first ever Softball Team at Medway this spring. While apart of the Lucan-Ilderton program Jocelyn has played a major role in numerous championships and even a trip to the U14 National tournament in 2018. Our under ager on paper, Jocelyn has always been our team captain and we are so extremely happy for her and all of her accomplishments. We are glad she is home and hope she makes it out for a few games this summer. Congratulations Jocelyn, we are so extremely proud of you!
