We will be hosting our 2023 AGM on May 20, 2024 at 7pm in the basement of the Ilderton United Church (121 Mill St.).

All those who were members in the 2023 season are invited to attend. Meeting will take less than an hour and ALL association members are encouraged to attend. Please join us if you have ever considered joining our Board of Directors or joining our association as a volunteer staff member.

Our association continues to grow with a record number of players and teams again this year. As you all know, we cannot continue to offer the wonderful programming we provide without sufficient volunteers within the organization.

Our Board is currently made up of 14 Directors, 3 of which no longer have children within our organization and many of which have been on the Board for several years and are looking to step away either at this AGM or the 2024 AGM.

We have nearly no representation for the 9U and below age groups. At each AGM, at least half of the Director roles are up for election (50% plus any positions where the Director steps down early). All the roles on the Board are important and contribute to the success of the organization but we do have a couple of significant roles to fill this year due to the Directors’ plans to shift roles or leave the organization. At this point I do not believe we have any current Board members planning to run for the positions of Treasurer or Director of Sponsorship and Fundraising. Both roles are important, but we cannot run the organization without a Treasurer in place so those of you who have a background in accounting, bookkeeping, just like dealing with numbers or simply want to help the organization please consider stepping up and running for this critical position. In addition to the Board positions, we are also in need of some staff positions including tournament organizer and others that we will be looking to fill. We are hoping to see many of you at the AGM on May 20th.
