Bermuda Triangle Division "A" Champs!
Woo! What a season!
Let me begin by congratulating you on a thrilling, nearly heart stopping championship game. After being down 8-1 after 2 innings, you displayed resilency and tremendous character facing adversity for the first time this year. Much better than your coach who was having a heart attack on the bench! Over the next 4 1/2 innings, you outscored North #1 Blue Jays 23-1. You did not simply win the championship as each and every single one of you contributed to rightfully earn the gold medal hanging around your neck.
You went a perfect 13-0 for the season, but more importantly, you each demonstrated tremendous improvement in your skills and displayed qualities of a great team. The coaches are very proud of your accomplishments but even more so, you should be very proud of yourself and what you achieved this year.
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the coaches, Chuck, Eddy, Jeff and Drew for their assistance and committment and to those parents who brought their gloves to practice week after week.
To the players, thank you for spending your time with us this summer so we could learn the game of baseball together. I hope this inspires you to keep playing the game and I look forward to seeing your faces again in the spring.
